This is a great casserole that you add hamburger meat, canned black-eyed-peas , Rotel tomatoes & cream cheese. This casserole is even delicious if you don't like black-eyed-peas. A take-off of the original dip, but now it's a casserole.
Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown 1 lb hamburger meat & set aside. Mix contents of package with 3 cups water. Bring to a boil. Let simmer 10 - 15 minutes until pasta is done. When pasta is done add 8oz cream cheese, browned hamburger meat, 1 - 10oz can Rotel tomatoes or diced tomatoes & 1 - 15.5oz can of black eye peas . Mix well. pour mixture into an 8x8 casserole dish & top with grated cheddar cheese. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve and enjoy.
